FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

When should the invitations be sent out to guests?

Wedding invitations should be sent out to guests between 8 to 10 weeks before your Wedding Day, giving enough time for guests to reply to you. If your wedding is at a busy time of year, e.g. July and August when your guests may be away on holiday, or if your guests are travelling quite a way, then invites should be sent out at least 12 weeks prior.

How many invites do I order?

One invite per couple or family but add a few extra to cover for any unexpected extras, or even the odd mistake when writing them!

Do you print the inserts?

Yes, we print the inserts with your own personalised wording. The wording and typeface is your choice but if you need any help or hints please do not hesitate to ask.

Are envelopes and insert pages included in the price?

For all Invitations, Reply cards and Thank You cards the price includes an envelope for each, and insert page. For the Order of Service the insert has four printed sides, please ask if you require more.

Is there a minimum order?

We have no minimum order amount and no order is too small!

Will I receive proofs?

You will receive proofs for each item of stationery ordered. You will need to check these thoroughly and if any changes are required a second proof will be produced.

Once we have had your signed proofs, or an email confirming your approval of the proof, we accept that as a confirmation that the design and wording of the card is, as you require it. If an error is made on our behalf after that date then we will of course amend it free of charge. If the error is found to be your fault, then any additional charge must be met by you.

When do I pay for my order?

Because the stationery is bespoked we require 50% of the final total as deposit on your order.

We will contact you when your order is ready and the remaining balance will be required before your order is dispatched.

At the moment we do not have credit card facilities, so accept payment by cheque only.

All our wedding stationery is handmade to order. Therefore this means that no two cards will be exactly the same and that of course is what makes them unique.
